Applications: used as rust inhibitor and in the production of chromate; as an oxidant and printing and dyeing mordant; in inks, paints, enamel, and metal corrosion; oxidative and can be used in tanning and medicines; also as an analytical reagent; as an indicator in titration of chloride with silver nitrate; take 10g potassium chromate and dissolve in 100mL water, and use AgNO3 to titrate the solution until it turns to reddish precipitate, then put it aside for one night; the titration end point turns from red to orange.
