CAC series carbon block filter cartridge is characterized by high porosity, solidity, stability, orderly alignment and well-distributed density of charcoal particles. Raw
materials could be different kinds of activated carbon, fruit shell carbon, for instance, coal carbon, coconut shell carbon, silver-supported granule acticarbon and carbon powder, mixed with small amount of food-grade bonder, and then continuously compressed into shape, thus form into carbon filter cartridge. The product is the best choice of normal civil and industrial process water treatment.
CAC series provide 5μm,10μm particulate filtration and extended life as a fine sediment Cartridges.
Thus service life of a CAC series carbon block filter cartridge is greatly extended by an outer layer of 5μm,10μm polypropylene non-woven prefiltration media and will operate effectively in most installation without prefiltration. It is ideal for residential and food service applications where Improving the taste of the water is the primary objective.

 
Granular Activated Carbon Filter Cartridges (GAC / UDF)
CAG series activated carbon filter cartridges are designed for effective reduction of unwanted taste and odor, such as chlorine. They are engineered to allow water to enter one end and pass through to be in contact with the carbon for a maximum length of time, ensuring maximum adsorption.. An internal expansion pad is added to minimize
channeling or bypass. A nominal 20 micron non-woven of post filter is incorporated to reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles.
CAG series cartridges contain coconut shell based or coal shell based activated carbon which is highly effective at reducing certain organic chemicals such as EDB, TCE, and THM's in addition to reducing chlorine.
