1350 aluminum is a 1000-series aluminum alloy: it is considered commercially pure, and is formulated for primary forming
into wrought products. 1350 is the Aluminum Association (AA) designation for this material. In European standards, it will
be given as EN AW-1350. 1E is the British Standard (BS) designation. And A91350 is the UNS number. Older literature
may refer to this material as EC, but this is now discouraged.
It originally received its standard designation in 1975. This material is well established: the Further Reading section below
cites a number of published standards, and that list is not necessarily exhaustive.

Chemical Composition

The aluminum industry has created a system using a four-digit numerical designation to identify wrought aluminum alloys.
The first digit indicates the major alloying element.  The second digit indicates whether there was a modification in the basic
alloy.  The third and fourth digit indicates the specific alloy.  The following represent the various groups:
