Overview:
Modified Bituminous Waterproof Membrane for Road & Bridge is a kind of sheet type waterproof material which can be rolled with polyester as the base, Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer, Random Polypropylene or Random Polyolefin (APP) plasticizer as modifier, and covered with polyethylene film, fine sand or mineral materials on both sides. This waterproof membrane is suitable for the road and bridge surface with cement concrete as the surface layer, and the modified asphalt polyester waterproof membrane with asphalt concrete layer is paved on it, and other uses such as airport runway, parking lot, etc.
Features:
1. It has all the features of APP and SBS waterproof membrane.
2. It has high heat resistance and good high temperature shear resistance,
3. It can ensure that the waterproof layer will not be damaged when paving with high-temperature asphalt concrete.
4. It has strong resistance to breaking and can bear the naked grinding of equipment and the puncture of granular materials in construction.

Product Types:
1. Thickness: 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm
2. Products are divided into: self adhesive construction (Z), hot melt (R), and hot melt adhesive (J) construction waterproof membrane.
3. Hot melt or hot melt adhesive construction waterproof membrane can be divided into Elastomer (SBS) and Plastomer (APP) Modified Bituminous Waterproof Membrane according to different modified materials; Self-Adhesive Construction Waterproof Membrane is a rubber modified asphalt waterproof membrane with SBS as the main component and other polymers as the main component.
4. APP Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membrane can be divided into Type I and Type II according to the form of asphalt pavement; the surface material of the membrane is fine sand (S).
5. The surface materials of hot melt construction waterproofing membrane are divided into Polyethylene Film (PE), fine sand (S) and the lower surface material of hot melt adhesive construction waterproof membrane is fine sand (S).
Scope of Application:
Self adhesive, SBS and APP Type I coiled materials are mainly used for asphalt concrete paving, while APP Type II coiled materials are mainly used for paving of cast asphalt concrete mixture.

Key Points of Construction:
1. Firstly, the base treatment agent shall be evenly applied to the surface of the base course without exposing the bottom surface or no pile up. When the base treatment agent is dry and does not stick to the hands, the coiled material shall be paved.
2. The paving of coiled materials shall start from one end and the bridge deck shall be horizontally arranged from low to high; the blowtorch (spray gun) shall be ignited to bake the asphalt layer on the bottom surface of the coiled material and the treatment agent on the base course shall be baked evenly; after the asphalt layer on the bottom surface of the coiled material is melted, it can be rolled forward, along with baking, paving and compaction; there must be excess asphalt extrusion at the overlapping edge.
3. Do not wear spiked shoes during operation. The protective layer can be poured 30 minutes after paving.
4. The base course shall be basically dry, and there shall be no water on the surface.
Storage and Transportation:
1. During storage and transportation, different types of products and specifications shall be stacked separately and shall not be mixed.
2. Avoid sunlight and rain, and pay attention to ventilation.
3. Hot melt or hot melt adhesive waterproof membrane shall be placed vertically below 50°C, and height shall not exceed two layers.
4. The self-adhesive waterproof membrane can only be placed in a single layer vertically. The box can be placed horizontally, and the height should not exceed five layers.
5. Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the storage period shall be at least one year from the production date
