Anionic Polyacrylamide PAM is used for water treatment, coal mining washing and paper mills. It is a water-soluble polymer with  high molecular weight supplied as a free flowing granular powder.

Features:

1) Appearance: White granule
2) Molecular weight: 5 - 22 million minimum
3) Granule: 20 - 100 mesh
4) Solid content: 88% minimum
5) Hydrolyzing degree: 10 - 20%, 20 - 30% or 30 - 50%
6) Dissolving time: 1 hours maximum (10° C)
7) Insoluble: 0.5% maximum
8) Monomer free: 0.05% maximum

 

Application & Dosage Information:

Prepare a stock solution of Anionic polyacrylamide of up to 0.5% concentration via an automated make down unit or as a batch.
Allow the solution to age for 30 to 60 minutes for maximum effectiveness.
Then use good quality make up water to give secondary dilution of at least 10:1 (clean water to stock solution). Then add as required.
AVOID the use of centrifugal pumps.
