INTRODUCTION:
MODE OF ACTION: Imidacloprid has contact and stomach poison action and works by interfering with the transmission of stimuli in the insect nervous system by causing a blockage of the nicotinergic neuronal pathway thus preventing acetylcholine from transmitting impulses between nerves, resulting in the insect's paralysis and eventual death.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: Imidacloprid 70% WDG can be applied as a direct spray or be drenched into the soil. Ensure adequate coverage of the crop foliage while spraying for excellent control.
PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add required amount of Imidacloprid 70% WDG and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing. Use the spray mixture on the same day of preparation.
COMPATIBILITY: Imidacloprid 70% WDG is compatible with most commonly used pesticides and liquid fertilizers. However, a compatibility test is advisable before mixing commercial quantities or spraying a large area.
APPLICATION TIMING: Apply Imidacloprid 70% WDG as a soil drench in the nursery and during growth stages at first signs of infestation or insect hatch peak period. Repeat applications as necessary.
PHYTOTOXICITY:Imidacloprid 70% WDG is not phytotoxic when used as recommended.
RE-ENTRY PERIOD: DO NOT enter treated areas within the restricted period of 12hours. If entry is necessary, proper protective clothing should be worn.
