 Applications
Control of a wide range of chewing and sucking insects (particularly Lepidoptera, 
Coleoptera, and Hemiptera) in fruit (including
citrus), vegetables, vines, cereals, maize, beet, oilseed rape, potatoes, cotton, rice, soya beans, 
forestry, and other crops;
applied at 10-15 g/ha. Control of cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, and other insect pests in public 
health; and flies in animal
houses. Also used as an animal ectoparasiticide.

Cypermethrin technical drug is yellow brown to dark reddish brown viscous liquid, specific gravity (20 ºC) 1.24, vapor pressure (20 ºC) 1.7 × 10-9mmhg. It is difficult to dissolve in water, but soluble in aromatics, alcohols and other organic solvents. It is stable under neutral and acidic conditions and hydrolyzed under strong alkali conditions. It is stable for more than 2 years at room temperature.
