Rimsulfuron Pre-emergence and post-emergence, systemic herbicides in corn fields. Can control most annual and perennial grass weeds and broadleaf weeds in corn fieldsSelective systemic and conductive post-emergence herbicide, suitable for controlling various broad-leaved weeds in wheat, barley, corn and other gramineous crop fields.

Toxicity

Acute oral LD50 in rats>5000mg/kg, acute dermal LD50 in rabbits>2000mg/kg, acute inhalation LC50>5.2mg/L air in rats (4h). It has no irritation effect on rabbit skin, but has a slight irritation effect on eyes. No sensitization to the skin of guinea pigs. No mutagenic, teratogenic, or carcinogenic effects were seen.

Chemical nature

The pure product is a white crystalline solid. The solubility in water at 25°C is <10mg/L, the partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) is 0.034, and the pKa is 4.1. It is stable in neutral soil and easily degraded in acid or alkaline soil. The half-life in soil is 1.7~4.3d. The hydrolysis half-life is 4.6d (pH=5), 7.2d (pH=7), 0.3d (pH=9).
