Cordyceps sinensis, also known as Cordyceps sinensis, is a complex of Cordyceps sinensis and bat moth larvae. Cordyceps sinensis has many functions. It is a complex composed of the fruiting body of Cordyceps sinensis and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (larva corpse) of Metarhizium anisopliae in summer.
 

The main active ingredient is cordycepin. The efficacy of Cordyceps sinensis mainly includes regulating immune system function, anti-tumor, anti fatigue, tonifying lung and kidney, hemostatic and expectorant, secreting essence and Qi, whitening and eliminating black, etc. The edible methods include powdering, soaking in wine, soaking in water, etc. Cordyceps sinensis is mainly found in the alpine region and the snow mountain grassland of five provinces in Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan and Gansu in Chinese mainland.
