Digital Cone Plate Viscometer Viscosity Meter Viscosimeter Product Description
Why measure viscosity?
By measuring the viscosity, the rheological behavior of the object can be obtained, which has important guiding value for predicting the process control, transportability, and operability of the product during use. The rheological properties are often related to other product characteristics such as color, density, stability, solid content, and molecular weight changes. Viscosity measurements are the most sensitive and convenient way to detect these properties.
Viscometer test principle
The machine transmission component drives the sensor with a high subdivision driving stepper motor to drive the rotor through the hairspring and the rotation shaft. If the rotor is not subjected to fluid resistance, the hairspring sensor pointer is in the same position as the stepper motor sensor pointer. Conversely, if the rotor is subjected to viscous drag of the liquid, the torque generated by the balance spring counteracts the viscous drag and eventually reaches equilibrium. At this moment, the signal is output to the microcomputer processor through the photoelectric sensor for data processing, and finally the liquid viscosity value is displayed on the liquid crystal screen. Details Description
Instrument main features: - It is integrated with the internationally most updated microcomputer driver and imported stepping motor which rotates stably and reliably in an accurate rotating speed.
- The horizontal displaying unit is on the front of the viscometer, and can be adjusted conveniently.
- The measuring range and viscosity value are accurately displayed with two digits after the decimal point, i.e. 0.01mPa.s.
- The function of timed measuring is practicable for measuring any non-Newtonian liquid.
- By the printing interface, a micro-printer can be connected to print various data
