Product Description

New to market: High performance, non fire resistant galvanised steel curtain wall profile.
We are proud to present MX/EX Steel Profile Systems, a range of industry leading, modular, curtain wall products that will help you save money in two ways.

Firstly our profiles are half the price of European suppliers thanks to a Chinese manufacturing base.  Secondly, they have been carefully designed to require 20-30% less time to install.  The range is fabricated primarily from an internationally patented steel sheet using a number of patented manufacturing processes.  Profiles within the range have the ability to deliver ground breaking levels of performance and functionality.

GMQ-60H is a HDG steel mullion profile made from 5mm thick sheet, designed for use with fire resistant glass.  It has been developed using a proprietary and patented manufacturing process, and offers a minimum profile width of 60mm.  It forms part of a bolted structure and can accomodate any thickness of fire glass simply by increasing securing bolt length.

Tailored solutions are also available on application, including custom profile dimensions, stainless steel, non-fire resistant and anti ballistic specification.

Product Parameters

Key features:
Patented cold rolling process allows very precise design parameters, excellent load bearing compared to aluminium, superior air leakage and water penetration performance:
a) Profile dimensional accuracy of 0.3-0.5mm
b) High precision external corner radiuses of <0.5mm can be achieved with 5mm sheet
c) Superior fire resistance and insulation of 1-1.5 hours at 1800 degrees elsius (depending on glass specification)
d) Tensile resistance of 7kN
e) Load bearing strength of 345 MPa (load applied to the end of a 1m long span)
f) Radio frequency welding is used on all joins to reduce loss of metal from excessive melting.
g) Innovative welding processes allow welds to be hidden in all profiles.
