Application field 
Sodium Benzoate FCC Grade is a food preservative and is bacteriostatic and fungistatic in acidic conditions. Sodium Benzoate 35% is a solution of water and Sodium Benzoate.  Sodium Benzoate inhibits the growth of mold, potentially harmful bacteria, and other microbes in food.  It is very effective in acidic foods.

Typical Uses:
Beverage Mixes, Cider, Fruits, Fruit Juices, & Fruit Salads, Jellies & Preserves
Olives, Orange Juice, Pickles, Preservative, Sauces

Sodium Benzoate is regulated in a variety of countries and usage rates will be dependant upon local regulations and the type of product that it is to be used in.
Before use of this product it is recommended that the FSA/EU/FDA etc are consulted to ensure the appropriate limits are observed. In the UK 70 ppm is the maximum level permitted in beer.
 
Packing
Standard packaging includes the following:
200kg per drum or 1000kg IBC drum, Other package sizes are available upon request.
 
Storage
Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dry area, out of direct sunlight. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
