Processing Flow Description

STEP 1: Feeding System

The excavator feeds the raw materials into the hopper, while rinsing the raw materials with a water gun. The clay is washed.

STEP 2: Classifying System
The material enters into the trommel screen which is configured with washing system. The bottom sizes will go into the double-motor drive jig machine for separation.


STEP 3: Jigging Machine Processing System
The double-motor drived jigging machine will process the bottom sizes of trommel screen, and get 3 products: fine sized coltan (usually -2mm), coarse sized coltan, and tailings.
 
STEP 4: Shaking Table Processing System
The fine sized coltan ore is delivered to the shaking tables from which will get the concentrates, middlings, and tailings. The middlings of first stage shaking table can be processed by the second stage of shaking table to recover the coltan.
 
STEP 5: Coarse sized Coltan from Jig Machine
The coarse sized coltan concentrates from the jig machine can be the final coltan concentrates..

 
STEP 6: Drying and Magnetic Separating System
All the concentrates obtained are dried in a dryer and then in a magnetic separator.
