HPMC is a highly pure cotton cellulose as raw material, under alkaline conditions by special etherification and preparation.White or whitish powder.HPMC decreases with the decrease of methoxide content, increase of gel point, decrease of water solubility and decrease of surface activity.
HPMC has thickening ability, salt resistance, low ash powder, pH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film forming, and a wide range of enzyme resistance, dispersion and adhesion.
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is a nonionic cellulose ether prepared by a series of chemical processing using natural polymer material cellulose as a raw material. they are an odorless, non-toxic white powder that swells in cold water into a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution. It

Mechanical shotcreting
Compared with the traditional mortar mixed on site, the biggest difference of machine sprayed mortar is the introduction of a series of additives such as hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether, which can optimize the performance of mortar, so as to make the newly mixed mortar have good workability, high water retention rate and good working performance after long distance and high pumping. Its biggest advantage lies in the high construction efficiency and the good quality of the mortar after molding. Because the mortar has a larger initial speed when spraying, it can have a relatively firm grasping effect with the matrix, which can effectively reduce the occurrence of hollowing and cracking.
Through continuous tests, it is found that when the machine-made sand with the maximum particle size of 2.5mm, stone powder content less than 12% and reasonable gradation is used, or the river sand with the maximum particle size of 4.75mm and mud content less than 5% is used in the preparation of the machine-made plastering mortar, the pipe plugging phenomenon will not occur; when the water retention rate of the newly mixed mortar is controlled above 95%, the consistency value is controlled around 90mm, and the consistency loss in 2H is controlled within 10mm, the pipe plugging phenomenon will not occur, The mortar has good pumping performance and spraying performance, and the appearance of the formed mortar is smooth and smooth, the slurry is uniform and rich, without sagging, hollowing and cracking.
