Introduction
Alumina filler ball is also known as inert alumina ceramic ball. Since it is inert, it will not have chemical reaction and play a catalytic role. In addition, due to its dense texture, its water absorption is very low, so it will not play a drying role. Inert alumina packing balls are widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fertilizer, natural gas, environmental protection and other industries as covering and supporting materials for catalysts in reactors and tower packing. Most of them are bottom filling materials for hydrocracking and refining equipment, catalytic reforming equipment, isomerization equipment, demethylation equipment and so on.
The alumina filler ball is made of ultra-fine crystal calcined alumina powder, evenly mixed by automatic mixing equipment, formed by ball forming machine and calcined at 1600 ºC in high-temperature tunnel kiln. Alumina filler ball has the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure resistance, low water absorption and stable chemical function. It can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali and other solvents, and can fully taste the temperature changes in the production process. It has good thermal stability. Its important function is to add gas or liquid distribution points to support and protect active catalysts with low strength.
Alumina filler ball is mainly used as proppant, so it will pay attention to compressive strength, water absorption, size of public service, rapid change of temperature resistance, etc.

Taking 99% φ20mm alumina filler ball as an example, its compressive strength is about 13kn / piece, water absorption is less than 5%, and bulk density is 1900kg / m ³, As the material for filling the bottom, it also has the advantages of acid and alkali corrosion resistance, so it is deeply loved by users.
Of course, the index data of alumina filler ball is closely related to the alumina content. Generally, the higher the alumina content is, the better its performance will be, and the price will be higher accordingly. This should also be selected according to the needs of users.
