What is Surgiclean^®?

Absorptive gauze of Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose
Raw material: Regenerated cellulose (similar to the nature of natural cellulose extracted cellulose)
Made from specialty fiber through oxidation and trimming, are smart hemostatics decomposed and absoubed synchronized with the healing process of human wound tissue.

When should consider Surgiclean^®?

Surgiclean^® as a supporting hemostatic device, this product can be used for various surgical prodedures. Ti is especially ideal for bleeding in capillary, vein and small arteries where can't be well controlled by traditional methods like ligation. At the same time, it can be used to stop the bleeding instead of ordinary gauze during surgery, it will not only help to stop the bleeding, but also reduce the possibility of postoperative adhesions.

How it works

How to use Suegiclean^®?

Check the integrity of sterile container, do not use if the package is broken.
Sterile technique should be observed in removing the guaze from its sterile contaner. Minimal amounts of the products in appropriate size are laid on the bleeding site or held firmly against the tissues until haemostastis is obtained.
The amount required depends on the nature and intensity of the hemorrhage to be stopped.

Hemostatic principle:

Physical hemostasis: vampire - dissolved - adhesion - expansion oppression - clog the blood vessels;
The physiological hemostasis: dissolved - generates negative ions - activate clotting factors - fibrinogen into fibrin;
Chemical hemostasis: net off the adhesion of platelets, red blood cells - platelet aggregation - release clotting factor - the formation of platelet thrombi.

Hemostatic time:

Vary according to the bleeding site as well as the body's own quality, primarily for accelerated hemostasis itself coagulation disorder crowd is invalid.

[Precautions]:
(1). Sterile, for single use, recycle not permitted.
(2). Do not use if the package is broken.
(3). This product is a supporting material to conventional haemostasis methods; it cannot replace suture and ligature, etc.
(4). Closing the Gauze in a contaminated wound without drainage may lead to complications and should be avoid.
(5). This product has excellent water absorption, keep away from liguids before use.
(6). This product has a low pH; do not mix/use with enzyme based hemostatic agents.
(7). Do not remove the Gauze before bleeding completely stops.
(8). Remove any excess after haemostasis is achieved in order to minimize the possibility of foreign body reaction.
(9). In urological procedures, minimal amounts of the product should be used and must be exercised to prevent plugging of the urethra, ureter,or a catheter by dislodged portions of the product.
(10). Since absorption of the product sould be prevented in chemically cauterized ares, its use shouldnot be preceded by application of silver nitrate or any other escharotic chemicals.
(11). Precautions should be taken in otorhinolaryngologic surgery to assure that none of the material is aspirated by the patient.
[Contraindications]:
(1). The Gauze should not be used in bone defects.
(2). The Gauze should not be used in packing or wadding, unless it is to be removed after haemostasis is achieved.
