The shock absorber connection is made of standard rod end bearings or seated bearings, which are generally steel-on-steel. Most of them are steel balls, which are usually injection-molded or internally PTFE-lubricated.

The rod end joint bearing is mainly composed of an inner ring having an outer spherical surface and an outer ring having an inner spherical surface, and can withstand a large load.
