Lithium Aluminum Hydride Application : 

1.It is used as a reagent and reducing agent for the determination of carbonyl, and also for the preparation of hydrides, silanes, boranes, etc

2.It is used as polymerization catalyst, reducing agent, jet engine fuel and synthetic medicine. Aldehydes, ketones, acids, anhydrides, esters, lactones, quinones and acyl chlorides can be reduced to alcohols, nitriles to primary amines and halogenated hydrocarbons to hydrocarbons. However, it is usually impossible to hydrogenate the carbon carbon double bond. Application: very strong reducing agent. It is widely used in medicine, perfume, pesticide and other fine organic synthesis.
