isobutanol is colorless, transparent and has a special smell.Density 0.806g/cm (15ºC), boiling point 107ºC (760mmHg), freezing point -108ºC, flash point 37.7ºC, spontaneous combustion point 426.6ºC;Soluble in water, ethanol and ethyl ether;Steam and air form an explosive mixture with an explosion limit of 2.4% (volume).

Main applications: mainly used in the production of petroleum additives, isobutyric acid, isobutyl acetate, isobutyl isobutyrate and other organic products, but also used in medicine, pesticides, food and other industries.

Packing: This product is packed in dry and clean tank truck or galvanized drum (170kg/ drum).

Storage and Precautions: Storage shall be kept in a dry, ventilated and explosion-proof warehouse with a temperature below 35ºC, away from open fires and heat sources.

2-Ethylhexanol Mainly used as a raw material for PVC plasticizers. Used as a solvent and preservative. Octanol is mainly used in the manufacture of phthalate esters and aliphatic dibasic ester plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl sebacate and dioctyl sebacate, etc. Plastic primary plasticizers and cold-resistant plasticizers, defoamers, dispersants, mineralizers, and petroleum fillers are also used in printing, dyeing, and filming.
