Aquaponic System Greenhouse Vegetable CultivationThe aquaculture water body is separated from the planting system, and the two are connected by a gravel nitrification filter bed design. The wastewater discharged from aquaculture is filtered through the nitrification filter bed or (tank) first. In the nitrification bed, some melon and fruit plants with large biomass can be cultivated to speed up the decomposition and nitrification of organic filters. The relatively clean water filtered by nitrification bed is recycled into hydroponic vegetable or aeroponic vegetable production system as nutrient solution, which is supplied by water circulation or spray to vegetable root system for absorption, and then returned to the aquaculture pond again after absorption by vegetables to form a closed-circuit circulation. 1. DWC(Deep water Culture): Vegetables are planted on the sink and held up by floating materials such as foam. The roots of the vegetables extend down through the holes in the raft and into the water to absorb nutrients. This way is more suitable for leafy vegetables.

2. NFT:(Nutrient Film Technique): PVC tube is usually used as the planting carrier and nutrient-rich water is pumped into the PVC tube. Plants are planted in the opening above the PVC pipe by fixing the planting basket, allowing their roots to access water and absorb nutrients. This method is mainly used for leafy vegetables.

3. Aerosol cultivation: spray the fish water directly to the root of the plant after atomizing, in order to achieve the purpose of nutrient absorption. This method is also mainly used for leafy vegetables. The water needs to be fully filtered and purified before spraying, so as not to clog the spray device.

After being absorbed and filtered by the vegetable root system, the treated wastewater is returned to the aquaculture pond, and the water forms a closed cycle among the aquaculture pond, the nitrification bed and the planting groove.
