 1. Starting  When starting, increase the throttle steadily to make the harvester reach the rated speed before cutting. When turning and reversing when encountering obstacles, you must raise the header, reduce the throttle, and stop cutting.

2. Operating speed  Under normal circumstances, use gear operation. When the wheat is dense, the plant is large, and the yield is high, the first block operation can be used; when the wheat grows sparsely, short, and the yield is low, the third block operation can be used. When working in the morning and evening with fog and rain, the speed should be lower because the wheat stalks are wet, and the speed should be higher when the wheat stalks are dry around noon.

3. Under normal circumstances, the peripheral speed of the reel should be 1.5 times of the forward speed of the unit. It is necessary to ensure that the reel can effectively deflect the wheat to the cutter for cutting, and it is also necessary to avoid the high speed of the reel. And knocking out the wheat kernels causes losses.

4. Cutting width  when the load permits, the full width or close to full width should be worked as far as possible. At this time, the working efficiency is the highest, but do not produce missed cuts to reduce harvesting losses.

5. The height of the cutting table should be as low as possible for post-cutting tillage and seeding operations. This is also an important measure for harvesting fallen wheat, reducing ear cutting and ear leakage, but the minimum height of the cutting table should not be less than 6cm to avoid cutting the soil and speeding up. The cutter is worn out. According to the requirements of the operation quality standard, the maximum cutting stubble shall not exceed 15cm.

6. Walking route  one is to use clockwise rotation to harvest; the other is to use counterclockwise rotation to harvest. In order to facilitate the unloading of grain on the left side and reduce the empty line, the harvest is often turned clockwise to the center. Lodging wheat should be harvested in reverse or sideways to reduce wheat harvest losses.
