Alloy 5754 is a typical aluminium-magnesium alloy which is closely related to the alloys 5454 and has higher strength than 5251. The most common tempers for 5754 aluminium are shown as O, H22, H24, H26, H32, H111 and etc. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance especially to seawater and industrially polluted atmospheres. In particular, mechanical property requirements vary widely with temper, product and product dimensions.
