About Polyester Rope 12-strand:
Our 12-strand polyester rope is made up from fine polyester yarns ,It is very close to nylon in strength but stretches less and therefore cannot absorb huge shock loads as well. It is equally resistant as nylon to moisture and chemicals, but is superior in resistance to abrasions and sunlight.They have very good resistance to abrasion, sunlight, chemicals, and cyclic loading.
Polyester retains its strength when wet. If you're looking for a rope to use in marine applications, polyester is the way to go.Unlike nylon, polyester will retain its normal level of strength, even when wet.
