What is an air preheater?
Air preheater, also known as air preheater, is a preheating equipment to improve boiler heat exchange performance and reduce heat loss. The function of air preheater is to transfer the heat carried in the flue gas discharged from the flue at the tail of the boiler to the air before entering the boiler through the heat sink and preheat the air to a certain temperature. Generally referred to as air preheater. It is mostly used for coal-fired power station boilers. It can be divided into pipe box type and rotary type, of which the rotary type is divided into hood rotary type and heating surface rotary type. The purpose of air preheater is to recover heat from boiler flue gas and improve boiler thermal efficiency by reducing useful heat loss in flue gas.
