Specification
Penicillin G potassium is easily soluble in water, saline and glucose solutions. The aqueous solution is easy to
fail when placed at room temperature, and it will quickly fail when encountering acid, alkali, oxidant, etc. It has a
good antibacterial effect against streptococcus species such as hemolytic streptococci, streptococcus
pneumoniae and staphylococci that do not produce penicillinase. Penicillin G potassium has a moderate
antibacterial effect on enterococci. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae
Bacillus anthracis,Actinomyces bovis,Streptomyces candida,Listeria monocytogenes,Leptospira and Treponema
pallidum are sensitive to this product. This product also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus
influenzae and B.pertussis and other Gram-negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria have poor sensitivity
to this product.This product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium,Digestive Streptococcus anaerobic
bacteria and Bacteroides melanogenes, etc.It has poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroides fragilis.Penicillin exerts
a bactericidal effect by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
1. For the treatment of sensitive enterococci,Shigella,Salmonella,E.coli,Listeria,aerogenes,Haemophilus influenzae
and Proteus mirabilis.
2. Broad-spectrum semi-synthetic penicillin drugs,low toxicity.Similar antibacterial spectrum and penicillin,penicillin-
sensitive bacteria lower potency, antibacterial effect viridans with penicillin similar or slightly stronger. Against
diphtheria, tetanus,and actinomycetes its effectiveness and penicillin basically same. Enterococcus and Listeria
effect is better than benzylpenicillin.it can produce drug-resistant staph bacteria penicillin had no antibacterial
effect. Effective against gram-negative bacteria, but easy to produce drug resistance.
3. Mainly caused by susceptible strains of drug for urinary system,respiratory system,biliary tract,intestinal infections
and meningitis, endocarditis.
4. Mainly used for typhoid, paratyphoid treatment; also for the urinary tract, respiratory tract infections.
