Penicillin G Potassium is used to treat and prevent a wide variety of bacterial infections such as rheumatic fever pharyngitis,
bacteremia. Penicillin potassium exerts a bactericidal action by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It is widely used to treat
animal diseases arising from bacterial infections.
Indications
Penicillin G Potassium is suitable for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria such as abscesses,bacteremia, pneumonia
and endocarditis. Among them, it is the drug of choice for the following infections:
(1) Hemolytic streptococcal infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, scarlet fever, erysipelas, cellulitis, and puerperal fever.
(2) Streptococcus pneumoniae infections such as pneumonia, otitis media, meningitis and bacteremia.
(3) Anthrax.
(4) Clostridium infection such as tetanus and gas gangrene.
(5) Leptospirosis, diphtheria
(6) For raw poultry, fish, shrimps and crabs, various diseases caused by bacterial infections
