How does a DTH hammer work? Compressed gas enters the DTH hammer through the drill pipe and then discharges from the DTH hammer button bits. The exhaust gas is used to discharge the ballast. The rotary motion of down the hole hammer is provided by the rotary hammer bit head, and the thrust of the shaft is provided by the propeller, which is transmitted to the DTH hammer through the drill rod. Brazing jacket is mainly used to transfer thrust and rotary motion to drill bit. The clasp controls the axial movement of the drill bit, while the check valve is used to stop impurities such as ballast from entering the DTH hammer when the pressure supply is stopped. During drilling, the DTH button bit is pushed by the dth hammer and pressed on the brazing sleeve. At this time, the piston directly impacts the bit to drill. When the bit is lifted off the bottom of the hole, it begins to blow strongly. That is the DTH hammer working principle
