IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warnings!

To reduce the risk of injury, do not attempt to use this product until you have read thoroughly and understand completely this operator's manual and the operator's manual for the RYOBI garage door opener. Ensure compatibility and fit before using this accessory. Do not use this accessory if a part is damaged or missing.

n Install keypad in sight of garage door and at least five feet above the floor.

n Always keep the moving door in sight and away from people and objects until it is completely closed. No one should cross the path of the moving door, which can result in death or serious personal injury

n Do not allow children or untrained individuals to use this unit.

n Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children.

n Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may use this product.

2 METHODS FOR INSTALLING:

Solution 1

Find desired location indoors and in sight of the garage door.

NOTE:

The keypad should be at least 5 feet above the floor so it is inaccessible to children.

n Insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot on the indoor keypad and remove the back cover.

n Install new AA batteries inside the keypad according to the polarity indicators.

n Hold the back cover against the wall.

Use a pencil and a level to mark screw hole placement.

n Mount the back cover to the wall using screws. Install screws using Phillips screwdriver.

NOTE: Use screws (provided) and drywall anchors when installing the keypad into drywall.

To install drywall anchors, make a hole in the drywall that is slightly smaller than the plastic anchor. Use your fingers to press the anchor into the surface. Tap the head of the anchor lightly with the hammer until it is flush with the wall.

Solution 2

Find desired location indoors and in sight of the garage door.

Stick the keypad on the wall by a piece of tag.
