The CHZ4(T)-12(15/27/38) KV/630A-1250A Providing the features of a traditional re-closer, plus the bene of up to date design optimized for automation, remote control and monitoring, now or in the future.by customer demand for improved return on capital investment in the distribution network to achieve optimum performance and reliability, making use of the latest available technology in insulation, vacuum interruption and microelectronics.
Three phase pole-top automatic circuit re-closer are designed and produced by the three kind of international advanced technology, as epoxy solid encapsulated technology, permanent magnetic actuating device, and intelligence control technology and so on.
The product is composite with solid dielectric insulted pole, permanent magnetic actuating device or motor actuating device, control unit, current transformer and vacuum interrupter and voltage sensor. Except the control unit is a single device, the others are combined together, compact frame, flexible design, easy to operate.
The CHZ4(T)-12(15/27/38) KV/630A-1250A three phase pole-top automatic circuit re-closer is for 12kV(15KV/27KV/38KV),50/60Hz distribution system, has not only circuit breaker control and protection features, but also can automatically detect the lines running statement.
Once the load side line or equipment occur a fault, meet or exceed current setting the minimum starting current, it will be good at a per-determined action sequence, to identify the fault is transient or permanent, and auto-complete one to three re-closing.

22.2Timed over current for phase, neutral and negative sequence51 relays PGQ/51N
22.3Sequence Components
Negative, positive and zero phase sequence currents and voltages can be
monitored and logged.
In addition, the negative phase sequence current protection can be used for
detection of low-level phase-to-phase faults in the presence of high level three phase
loads. Inverse Time, Definite Time and Instantaneous operation is available.
Setting current range: 10 - 1260 A
22.4Sequence CoordinationSequence Coordination allows a recloser to coordinate it's trip sequence with
another recloser downstream
22.5Auto-re-closerRelay 79 (sequence 1,2,3,4)
Operating Sequence
Reclose times are individually selectable. The operating sequence is defined by:
O - 1st rt - CO - 2nd rt - CO - 3rd rt - CO
where rt = reclose time.
where O = open.
where C = close.
1st Reclose Time range: 0.2 - 180 sec
2nd Reclose Time range: 2.0 - 180 sec
3rd Reclose Time range: 2.0 - 180 sec
Timing resolution: 0.1 sec
Recovery/ Reset Time: 0.1 - 180 sec
Sequence Reset Timing resolution: 1 sec
22.6Trips to LockoutOvercurrent and fault trips to lockout are selectable between 1 and 4. A separate
setting is available for Sensitive Earth Fault and Negative Phase Sequence.
22.7Loss of phase
Loss of phase protection trips the re-closer if phase-earth voltage on one or two, phases falls below a set voltage threshold for a set length of time.
Threshold voltage range: 2 - 15kV
Voltage resolution: 1V
Time range: 0.1 - 100 sec
Time resolution: 0.1 sec
22.8Live load blocking
Live load blocking prevents a re-closer from closing if any of the load side terminals
are live.
Live Load Threshold Voltage range: 2 - 15kV
22.9Dead lockout

Dead lockout prevents a reclose unless one or more of the source side or load side
terminals are live. If all terminals are dead, then the controller goes to lockout
22.10Envelope and low frequency
This feature trips the re-closer when the system frequency exceeds the under and
over frequency trip threshold values. Frequency tripping range: 45 - 65 Hz
Relay 81
Frequency calculation: Once per cycle over a two-cycle period
Number of under/over frequency cycles before tripping: 2 - 1000
Accuracy: ±0.05Hz
22.11Over voltageRelay 59
22.12Low voltageRelay 27
22.13DistanceRelay 21
22.14Directional blocking
Directional protection

67 relay PGQ/67N
a protection feature that restricts tripping on faults to a
designated side of the re-closer. It prevents nuisance tripping if network
conditions are causing "false" earth faults. In radial systems, Directional Blocking
prevents nuisance tripping by blocking faults in the source direction and only responding to faults in the load direction.
Distinct protection for faults in the forward and reverse direction. A forward fault may
use a different time-current curve and settings to a reverse fault (i.e. these are
individually selectable). Both the forward protection and reverse protection are
operating at the same time. This is an additional protection feature
22.15Cold load picks up(OPTIONAL)
Cold load pick-up allows for a loss of diversity when a load has been without supply
for a period.
Multiplier range: 1 - 5
Multiplier resolution: 0.1
Time Constant range: 1 - 480 min
Time constant resolution: 1 min
22.16High impedance/conductor broken failureOptional
22.17harmonicoptional
22.18Protection time-current curves:1. IEC/IEEE ,2.ANSI(OPETIONAL)
3.(optional Non Standard Inverse Time Curves)
IEC 60255 CURVESInverse,Very Inverse and Extremely Inverse.
IEEE C37.122Moderately Inverse,Very Inverse and Extremely Inverse.
22.19Instantaneous protection
Instantaneous protection works by tripping the re-closer if the line current exceeds
the Instantaneous Multiplier x Setting Current.
Multiplier range: 1 - 30
Resolution of setting: 0.1
Max effective setting: 12.5kA
22.20Definite time protection
Definite Time is an alternative to Inverse Time protection. It works by tripping the
Re-closer at a fixed time after pick-up.
Setting current range: 10 - 1260A
Definite time resolution: 0.1 sec
Definite time range: 0.01 - 100 sec
Setting current resolution: 1A

SEF operating time range:         0.1-999sec
SEF trip current setting resolution:         1A
SEF operating time resolution:         0.1S
22.22Under / Over Voltage Protection
When selected, and a nominal Phase to Earth System operating voltage is set, the UOV Protection works within a defined threshold above and below the specified
voltage.
Under Voltage Lower Threshold Range:
50% - 88%
Over Voltage Upper Threshold Range: 112% - 150%
Trip After X Secs Range: 0 - 300 Seconds
Phase Logic
1.When ALL phases deviate beyond thresholds
2.When ANY phase voltage deviates beyond the thresholds
3.When the numerical AVERAGE of all phase Voltages deviates beyond the threshold.
22.23Inrush restraint
Inrush restraint raises the phase and earth threshold currents for a short period of
time to allow for short duration inrush currents when closing onto a load.
Multiplier range: 1 - 30
Multiplier resolution: 0.1
Time range: 0.05 - 30 sec
Time resolution: 0.05 sec
