Characteristics: Colorless needle crystal or white crystalline powder, melting point 132-135ºC, boiling point 228ºC (decomposition), hardly soluble in water, easily soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents.

Use  way: mainly used in food, cosmetics, medicines and health products, tobacco industry anti-corrosion preservation; as an unsaturated acid, it can also be used in resin, perfume and rubber industries.
