The polyester flat webbing sling is a synthetic webbing fabricated into a configuration without fittings for raising, lowering or suspending applications in general industrial and specialized operations. 

Polyester is used primarily in conditions where acid is present and minimum stretch is desired. Polyester is unaffected by common acids and bleaching agents, but the material is unsuitable for use in conditions where concentrated sulfuric acid and alkaline is present.

Polyester is also unsuitable in locations where temperatures are below -40°C. or exceed 100°C. Stretch of a polyester web sling at rated capacity is approximately 3%.

H-Lift currently supplies five sling types:

1. Flat eye sling is made with a flat loop eye on each end with loop eye opening on same plane as sling body. This type of sling is sometimes called a flat eye and eye, eye and eye or double eye sling.
2. Reversed eye sling is formed by using multiple widths of webbing held edge to edge. A wear pad is attached on one or both sides of the web sling body and on one or both sides of the loop eyes to form a loop eye at each end, which is at a right angle to the plane of the web sling body.
3. Folded eye 1/2 width from 1 side sling is used for larger slings where the loop eye would face difficulty fitting through the throat of the hook. By folding the eye in half using a bi-fold, it allows for larger slings to be attached to smaller attachment areas.
4. Folded eye 1/2 width from 2 sides sling has the same folded eye width as #3 however it uses a gate fold. This is the most popular style for larger slings.
5. Folded eye 1/3 width sling is used for the largest of slings and decreases the width of the loop eye the most. It uses a roll fold to reduce the width of the loop eye to a third of the original.
