The Italian ATOS proportional relief valve RZMO-A* is a pilot type, superimposed installation without integrated pressure sensor.
Such valves work in conjunction with an electronic amplifier that provides an appropriate drive current to the proportional valve to calibrate the valve adjustment to correspond to the input signal to the supply amplifier.
These proportional valves are available in different forms:
    *-A: without pressure sensor
    *-AE, -AES: Same as A, AE is analog, AES is digital, both have integrated electronic amplifiers.
    The system pressure is controlled by the spool and is directly affected by the pilot proportional relief valve.
The superimposed pressure compensated flow valve ensures constant pilot flow for improved pressure stability.
The ATOS proportional relief valve integrated amplifier is factory pre-adjusted to ensure good valve performance, easy valve installation and electrical connection, and complete interchangeability between valve and valve.
The electrical main plug is interchanged between -AE and -AES. A standard 7-pin plug is used for power supply, analog input signals and monitoring signals.
For valves with the /Z1 (AES) option, a 12-pin plug is used.

    -AES type valve configuration communication interface, the following types:
    * Standard - PS serial communication interface for parameter configuration, signal monitoring, and PC software
    Line firmware update - all types have this interface
    *Optional - BC interface, CANopen interface

Valves with BC or BP interfaces can be embedded in the fieldbus network and digitally operated by the machine control unit.
