Lithium fluoride is a white powder. It is slightly soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol and other organic solvents. At room temperature, Lithium fluoride is soluble in nitric acid and sulfuric acid, but not in hydrochloric acid. It can form Li2HF acid salt with hydrofluoric acid.
