Metallic sieve is a meshed product, which is made out of metal wires through the use of a specialized technology. Metallic sieves are woven by using copper wires, stainless steel wires, iron wires, steel wires or galvanized wires. Wire diameter mostly ranges between 4mm and 0.025mm.
Generally,weave styles include plain square weave, twill square weave, dutch weave (dutch plain weave or dutch twill weave), reverse dutch weave, rectangular weave and stranded weave.
Metallic sieves have visible and precise apertures, and flat mesh surface. Metallic sieves feature high temperature resistance and wear resistance. Therefore, metallic sieves are mostly used for powder screening and oil filtration.
