Round Pebbles
The round pebbles do not compress or touch. The uniform space between the pebbles provides even aeration and wetting throughout, allowing roots to fully grow into the medium. The clay surface repels water, but surface tension coats each clay ball in a thin coat of water, perfect conditions for roots. Cracked rocks absorb water like a sponge.

Application of our expanded clay.

Expended Clay (LECA) main use is as a hydroponic/aquaponics growing media in flood and drain and dripper hydroponics/aquaponics systems.

Expanded Clay Balls/ pebbles can also be mixed with other hydroponic growing media like Perlite, Coco or Soil to give better aeration.

To create better drainage when growing in pots add a layer of Clay pebbles in the bottom.
Many growers use clay pebbles as a hydroponic/aquaponics growing media because they have excellent aeration and drainage properties.  

Expanded Clay Balls/ pebbles are a clean, ph stable, and can be reused a couple of times before they need to be replaced.
