What is an air preheater?
Air preheater, also known as air preheater, is a preheating equipment to improve boiler heat exchange performance and reduce heat loss. The function of air preheater is to transfer the heat carried in the flue gas discharged from the flue at the tail of the boiler to the air before entering the boiler through the heat sink and preheat the air to a certain temperature.
The tubular air preheater is equipped with an intermediate tube plate in the tube box. The flue gas passes through the preheater up and down along the steel pipe, and the air passes through the preheater laterally to complete heat conduction.
Tubular air preheater has the advantages of good sealing, high heat transfer efficiency and easy manufacture and processing. Therefore, it is widely used in power station boilers and industrial boilers.

Change the heat transfer mode. In order to use less heating area and obtain higher preheating air temperature, people usually adopt countercurrent arrangement. In order to avoid low-temperature corrosion, it can be changed to the forward flow heat transfer mode or the forward flow followed by the reverse flow heat transfer mode. The metal wall temperature of the low temperature section of the air preheater can be increased.
