Botany: Zingiber Zerumbet Extract is an extract from the 2-3 years old rhizome of Zingiber Zerumbet by simple steam distillation and recrystallization. It is most widely known as the "shampoo ginger" for the creamy liquid substance in the cones, called in china as Wild Ginger. Zingiber zerumbet is native to Southeast Asia but has been widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical areas around the world, and has naturalized in some areas.
 
Function:
 Suppresses free radical generation;
 Anti-inflammatory;
 Suppresses cancer cell proliferation accompanied by apoptosis;
 Counters HIV activity
 Zerumbone is used to treat cancer, Leukemia, tumor.
