Organoclay Rheological Additive for Lubricant grease industry
OrganoClay (here mainly means bentonite or hectorite) is inorganic minerals. After it is modified by quaternary ammonium salt or other organic compound, it become organoclay which can be dispersed in organic solvent. Due to its perfect thickening and rheology in solvent, it is widely used as rheological additive to effect anti-sag and anti-settling in paints and coatings formulations.

Using
CP-EW it can be added directly in powder, with its addition to be 0.2~3.0%. Procedures are as follow.
1. water (PH:7.0-8.0)
2. CP-EW (Dispersing at high speed for 20-30minutes)
3. Additive
4. Pigment and filler (Mixing and dispersing)
5. Emulsion (Mixing).
6. Post correct.
