Aluminum Hydroxide:
Indication:
It is used to relieve the stomach pain, heartburn (heartburn) and acid regurgitation caused by excessive stomach acid, and also used for chronic gastritis.
Side effects:
1. Long term and large dose administration may cause severe constipation and intestinal obstruction due to fecal caking.
2. The elderly take it for a long time, which can cause osteoporosis.
3. The patients with renal insufficiency may cause the increase of blood aluminum.

Pharmacological Action:
A small amount of aluminum hydroxide is absorbed into soluble aluminum chloride in the stomach and excreted from the urine. Most of the aluminum ions in the intestine form insoluble aluminum salts such as phosphate, carbonate and fatty acid salts, which are excreted from the feces. The effect of this product is slow, and the time effect in the stomach is related to the speed of gastric emptying. The effect of fasting can last for 20-30 minutes, and the effect of 1-2 hours after meal may be prolonged to 3 hours.

Magnesium Hydroxide
Function and use
this product is a kind of anti acid drug which is difficult to absorb. The anti acid effect is similar to that of magnesium oxide, but weaker.
