Stability:
D-Panthenol is fairly stable to air and light. It is hygroscopic and sensitive to heat: heating over 70ºC may cause race mission.
Storage:
The shelf life is 36 months from the date of production when stored in the unopened original container at room temperature(below 25ºC). The effective "best use before" details stated on the label. In aqueous solutions, D-Panthenol is markedly more stable than the salts of pantothenic acid, in particular at a PH of 3 to 6. It can adjust the metabolism of protein, carbohydrate and fat, preserve the mucous on the skin surface and shine of the hair (or feather) and prevent diseases.

D-Panthenol is applied in almost all types of cosmetic preparations. It cares hair, skin and nails. D-Panthenol is the provitamin of D-Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) , which plays a key role in the human intermediary metobilism. Deficiency of Vitamin B5 can result in many dermatological disorders.
