Product Desciption

PGLA, coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate, has been found to be inert, non-antigenic and non-pyrogenic. The sutures are braided and are available dyed (coated, violet).

PGLA complies with the requirements of United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) for Synthetic Absorbable Surgical Suture.

PGLA is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation includinguse in ophthalmic procedures;plastic surgery; subcuticular; Obstetrics; gynaecology;hepatic; but not for Cardiovascular and nerve tissue.
