OVERVIEW

This is an intermediate of pulchinenoside C (anemoside B4). 7,8-dihydroxyflavone (7,8-dhf) is an effective and selective TrkB receptor agonist (KD ≈ 320 nm). TrkB receptor is the main signal receptor of brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It is a natural Pulsatilla Saponin B4, which has many biological effects, such as antitumor, neuroprotective, anti angiogenesis and so on.
