(1) Add 5 parts of magnesium hydroxide into the reactor, heat and stir evenly to 40 ºC, then add 44 parts of 1841 stearic acid and 0.3 parts of glacial acetic acid, continue to heat and stir the reaction, and control the maximum reaction temperature at 95 ºC.
( 2) When the material and water are obviously separated in the reactor, the material and water are separated after the reaction, and magnesium stearate can be obtained. The reaction time is 40-60 minutes. The technical process is simple, and the wastewater generated in the reaction process can be reused after treatment in the sedimentation tank. Compared with the double decomposition method of zinc stearate, the energy consumption is lower; The magnesium stearate obtained by this process has high transparency, low bulk density, fluffy product and excellent thermal stability. Compared with dry magnesium stearate and double decomposition magnesium stearate, it has better performance and wider application industry.
