What is FidaxoMicin ?

Fedamycin is a macrolide antibiotic, and its mechanism of action is novel, mainly by inhibiting the RNA polymerase of bacteria to produce rapid resistance to clostridium difficile infection (CDI). Its treatment of CDI is superior to existing . 


The safety and efficacy of fdamycin were demonstrated in two large multicenter, randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical trials of the active . The common adverse reactions of non-damycin include nausea, vomiting, headache, stomachache and dysentery.

 

 

FUNCTION OF FIDAXOMICIN

other bacteria strains, so far, in vitro studies did not see it with the other cross resistance to antimicrobial
