Geological Electrical Resistivity and Sp Ves Prospecting Equipment Resistivity Meter for Water DetectionDifferent strata have different resistivity. High resistance body: it can repel the current around; low resistance body: it can attract current to its interior.

In order to solve different geological problems, different electrode arrangements are adopted. According to the different electrode arrangements, resistivity methods are divided into electrical profile method, electrical sounding method and high density resistivity method.

1. Electrical profile method:
When the distance between the power supply electrode and ab is fixed, the detection depth of the electrode system is fixed. When the electrode system is moved, the change of underground resistivity within a certain depth range can be reflected.

2. Electrical sounding method:
Taking a certain point on the surface (i.e. sounding point) as the center, the resistivity values of rock layers with different depths are measured with different polar distances, and the geological cross section can be obtained.

3. Resistivity tomography method
The characteristics of electric profile method and electrical sounding method are concentrated, which can not only provide the variation of transverse electrical property in a certain depth range, but also provide the variation characteristics of vertical electrical property.
