Dosage and AdministrationFor intramuscular administration, a single dose ,
Horse, cattle:10,000-20,000 IU /1kg body weight.
Sheep, pig, foal, calf: 20,000-30,000 IU / 1kg body weight.
Dog, cat:30,000-40,000 IU / 1kg body weight.
Poultry:50,000 IU /1kg body weight.
Once a day for 2-3 days.
Before use, add sterile water for injection amount to dissolve.
Side Effects(1)Mainly allergic reactions, most livestock can occur, but the incidence rate is low. Local reactions at the injection site showed edema, pain, systemic. reactions urticaria, rash, severe cases can lead to shock or death.
(2)For some animals, penicillin may induce gastrointestinal superinfection.
Precaution(1)Injection should be formulated immediately before use.
(2)It should pay attention to interactions with other drugs and incompatibility, so as not to affect the efficacy.
(3)Bolus injection may appear high hyponatremia. livestock and poultry with renal dysfunction or heart failure will have adverse consequences.
