1. Material description
1.2 Material
The sampling head of the swab is made of medical absorbent cotton or polyester cotton or nylon fiber, and the sampling rod is made of bamboo, wood, or plastic.
2 Performance indicators
2.1 Appearance
No stains, no stains, no mildew, no peculiar smell, no impurities, no defects in use.
2.2 Water absorption
The sampling head of the swab should absorb water: (0.15±0.05)g.
2.3 Bonding firmness
   The sampling head should be connected firmly. After the sampling head is filled with water, wipe the sampling head five times on the skin with the same action, and the sampling rod shall not be separated or fall off.
3. Inspection method
3.1 Appearance
Visual inspection and hand feel inspection should meet the requirements of 2.1.
3.2 Basic dimensions
Use universal measuring tools to measure, should meet the requirements of 2.2.
3.3 Water absorption
Take 10 swabs and place them on the balance to weigh, record the weight G1, then place it in a beaker and stir for 30 seconds, take out the cotton swab and hang it in the air until no drops of water drip and weigh, record the weight G2, and calculate the average of the difference between the front and back weights Value, the water absorption of each swab should be in accordance with 2.3.
3.4 Adhesion firmness
 After immersing the sampling head in water, wipe it on the skin five times in a simulated use action. The sampling head and the sampling rod shall not be separated, and there shall be no falling off, and shall meet the requirements of 2.4.
