Copper sulfate (anhydrous form) is green or gray-white powder, whereas pentahydrate, the most commonly encountered salt, is bright blue. The anhydrous form occurs as a rare mineral known as chalcocyanite. Hydrated copper sulfate occurs in nature as chalcanthite. Copper sulfate is made by the action of sulfuric acid with a variety of copper compounds. Copper sulfate is used in hair dyes, coloring glass, processing of leather, textiles, and in pyrotechnics as a green colorant. Copper sulfate pentahydrate is used as a fungicide and a mixture with lime is called Bordeux mixture and is used to control fungus on grapes, melons, and other berries, as a molluscicide for the destruction of slugs and snails, particularly the snail host of the liver fl uke. Copper sulfate is used in Fehling and Benedict's solution to test reducing sugars.

Application

Feed grade  applications1.It is an imoortant trace element in drug feed.
2.Added into diet, it can effectively prevent and treat anemia, weak limbs, bone growth, joint swelling, osteoporosis, growth retardation, heartfailure,gastrolintestinal diseases and other symptoms.
3.Promote the growth of livestock and aquaticanimals, enhance disease resistance, improve feed utilization.
4.Sheep can also improve wool production and improve the quality.
5.Pigs also have similar antibiotic effects.

Agriculture grade application
Copper sulphate can be used to kill fungi. It is mixed with lime water to form Bordeaux mixture.
It is used as a fungicide to control fungi on crops such as lemon and grape, and to prevent fruit from decaying. Dilute solutions are used for sterilization in aquariums and for removing snails. Since copper ions are toxic to fish, the amount must be strictly controlled. Most fungi can be killed with very low concentrations of copper sulfate, and E. coli can also be controlled. In addition, the aquaculture industry is also used as the main raw material for trace element copper in feed additives.
 
Electroplating grade application
Copper sulphate is the electrolyte when electrolytic refined copper.
After several purification and filtration electroplating grade copper sulfate can reach high purity.
It will gradyally lose crystal water when it is place in the air for a long time and change into white.

We accept FOB , CIF, CIP, CFR, FCA,EXW. You can choose the one which is the most convenient or cost effective for you. For other terms and conditions, we can negotiable to see the possibilities.
Normally it is 7-14 to arrange the shipping. For OEM package orders, more days shall be considered.

Usually, we provide the packaging for 25 kg/bag/carton/drum, It is easy for loading and unloading. We could also offer bags/cartons/drums with Pallet, it is convenient for transportation also.
If you have special requirements on the packages, we will offer reasonable plan for you.
