The role of tissue fixation is to maintain the inherent morphology and structure of tissues and cells, prevent bacterial corrosion and autolysis of tissue cells, preserve the inherent substances in cells, coagulate intracellular proteins, and minimize or terminate endogenous and exogenous The enzyme reaction keeps the cells or tissues basically the same as the substances in life, and can also harden the tissues and facilitate the cutting of the tissues. For some infectious specimens, it can prevent the spread of diseases; keep the general specimens. Finally, fixation can also enhance the effect of dyeing.

Dense tissues such as tendons and ligaments are often difficult to section or have poor quality due to poor paraffin penetration when making paraffin sections due to their structural characteristics. This product is suitable for the fixation of dense connective tissues, and can achieve excellent paraffin slices. The main components of this product include formaldehyde, ethanol and glacial acetic acid.


Storage and transportation

Transport at room temperature; store in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, valid for 24 months.


Instructions

When collecting materials from tendons, ligaments and other tissues, try to remove the connective tissues as much as possible. Put them into the fixative solution immediately after taking the materials, and transfer them to 70% ethanol for storage after fixation for 24-48 hours. The tissues should be dehydrated and embedded as soon as possible. Too long a fixed time may affect the organizational structure.
