Dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid (Dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid) is an organic compound with molecular formula C18H30SO3, light yellow to brown viscous liquid. The relative molecular weight is 326.49, soluble in water, and generates heat when diluted with water. Slightly soluble in benzene, xylene, and easily soluble in organic solvents such as ol, ethanol, propanol, and ether. It has the functions of emulsification, dispersion and decontamination.
Using:
It is mainly used in the manufacture of sodium salt, calcium salt and ammonium salt of anionic surfactant alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, and also used as an emulsifier for organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides. [1] It can be used as a curing catalyst for amino baking paints, used in the preparation of various liquid and solid detergents, and also used in various cosmetic formulations. Because it is stable in acid solution and has good washing performance, it is often used in the preparation of acid solution detergents such as toilet cleaners.
Application:
1) in hair shampoo, bath shampoo, dish detergents and complex soap, laundry powder, dishware cleaner
in daily chemical industrial
2) it is also used in wetting and clearer , dyeing assistant in textile industry
3) degrease agent in electroplate and leather manufacture
4) de-inking agent in paper making.
